Hello Friends!
I have not actually started blogging, and I decided today over a cup of coffee that a good way to start doing so is with cupcakes! I realize that cupcakes are either oh-so-trendy or are totally out of style, but every time I ask a friend with an upcoming birthday if they want a whole cake, or a bunch of cupcakes, they always demand the second. I personally love making both. Cupcakes are less demanding than a whole cake. The ones pictured above where made for my best friend Katy's birthday last summer. They are vanilla cake topped with a chocolate espresso ganache and frosted with swiss meringue buttercream frosting. Yum.
